Most clubs had club championships last weekend and will again this comming weekend. Don't keep the results a secret, share the news so we can all congradulate the club champ winners when we see them next.

AND OPEN TOURNAMENT PROGRAM HAVE BEEN FORWARDED TO CLUBS FOR DISCUSSION. CLUBS ARE ASKED TO REVIEW THEIR OWN PROGRAMS AS WE HAVE AN EXCESS OF OPEN TOURNAMENTS AND MANY ARE NOT BEEN FILLED.

The Board would like to do something different for the Centre’s 10th Anniversary – new venue (where the public are excluded), light show, etc. Calling for ideas, comments, etc. Eg: The existing venue does offer mini van transport.

The Centre operations committee would appreciate your input into the current Centre events held -  feed back on conditions of play, events currently held, etc in preparations for 2017-18 hand book.

We wish to advise all bowlers in Northland that a number of opportunities to become involved with centre administration and other activities will become available next season. Now is a good time to consider your involvement and if you have something positive to contribute. A small time commitmen

Lets get some disscussion started of what our sport will look like in 5 years time. Will your club still be around? Will our membership grow? How do we attract new bowlers? Are the days of the traditional member numbered? Trends would indicate clubs are struggling, traditional membership is in decli

I am amazed about the early scheduling of the open centre events. I disagree with this because ▪some grass greens are not up to standard for an important event. ▪who actually audits the greens chosen. ▪players have not had enough blowing time. Wouldn't it be better if these were played mid to end

If you want a couple of drinks any new venue would have to offer transport. (Mini Vans) as the Kamo Club does.
